Electrical Automation Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and mechanical support to technicians
• Monitor, improve, and provide electromechanical support for assigned teams
• Lead large projects related to machine and program modifications
• Troubleshoot VFD, HMI, and AMC drives
• Perform PLC programming and ladder logic changes using Allen Bradley Studio 5000
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis for critical breakdowns
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical machines and electrical components
• Maintain wiring systems, bend conduit, and replace old wiring
• Perform work from blueprints, sketches, or specifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of VFD, HMI, and AMC drives
• Advanced knowledge in PLC and ladder logic (Allen Bradley Studio 5000)
• Ability to read prints and troubleshoot electrical components
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights of 10 feet or greater
