Electrical Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design electrical MCC & PLC panels and create electrical diagrams using e-Plan and Cogineer.
• Perform critical electrical calculations including panel sizing, field cables, power incoming sizing, heat dissipation, and bus bar selection.
• Design low voltage electrical panels and manage motor selection and sizing.
• Develop electrical alternative designs for new product development projects.
• Create, review, and update engineering drawings and layouts in accordance with project specifications.
• Coordinate design activity planning and mentor/coach less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience working with engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in design tools including ACAD, Cogineer, and ePlan P8.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 60204-1 standards.
• Familiarity with CE, UL, and cUL norms and design basis.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proven experience with project-based work and cross-cultural awareness.
