Electrical, Automation and Instrumentation Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with safety standards and electrical, instrumentation, and automation design standards
• Supervise construction activities and manage contractors on-site
• Monitor quality of work performed by contractors to ensure compliance with standards
• Register, track, and follow up on non-conformities and snag items
• Develop checklists for verification of electrical, control, and automation systems
• Prepare regular reports on construction progress, milestones, and risks
• Conduct and document contractor meetings on-site
• Support installation teams in resolving on-site construction issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems, or Mechatronics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and commissioning process control applications
• Expertise in DCS and PLC architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with PLCs, DCSs, HMIs, SCADA, and SQL databases
• Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP
• Experience with software test plans and functional design documents
• Advanced English language skills
• Knowledge of IEC 61131 programming standards
• Mandatory willingness to travel daily to sites or relocate temporarily

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Process Safety Management systems
• Familiarity with integration between PLC systems and ERP/MES platforms
