Electrical Assembly II

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on component parts, sub-assemblies, or completed units for aerospace applications.
• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
• Position and assemble components using templates, measurements, and fastening tools.
• Verify specifications by measuring finished components to ensure quality.
• Maintain accurate daily production and quality records.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supplies to ensure continuous production.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with all regulations.
• Support production schedules, including potential overtime or alternate shift hours.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant assembly experience.
• U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee/asylee status).
• Ability to lift and move parts or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronics manufacturing processes, specifically soldering, torque tools, and adhesive application.
• Experience with optical component assembly, such as fiber optics and lenses.
• Demonstrated ability to follow complex work instructions.
• Previous experience working in a professional production environment.
