About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality electrical assembly on production projects, including large line-ups and complex sections
- Install electrical components and devices onto pans and into enclosures per drawing packages and assembly guides
- Prep and install switches, meters, breaker cells, breakers, nameplates, and sensors
- Use equipment and tools safely, including overhead cranes, pallet jacks, drills, and power tools
- Interpret electrical manufacturing principles and specifications to determine component parts and sequencing
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete necessary quality check documentation
Requirements
- 3+ months of experience assembling electrical switchboards from drawing packages
- High School/GED
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and raw materials
- Proficiency with mechanical tools including torque wrenches, band saws, and power tools
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong manual dexterity and arm-hand steadiness
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in an electrical apprenticeship, electronic repair, or HVAC installation
