Electrical Assembler I

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical assembly tasks including soldering, hardware installation, and post-coating under close supervision
• Inspect own work to ensure conformity to workmanship standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications
• Meet productivity expectations to ensure customer deadlines are met
• Comply with all company rules regarding Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, Compliance, and Quality
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including materials and equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement plans, cost reduction initiatives, and audits
• Report work progress and updates to the lead or supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.)
• U.S. Citizenship is required for access to specific program information
• Ability to stand for 9 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Experience following assembly instructions and operating/maintenance manuals
• Ability to work effectively in an environment requiring repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• Intermediate computer skills for navigating software and typing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
