About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance on specified equipment
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance covering electrical installations and minor building works
- Report on-site maintenance work and obtain off-site check out on job cards
- Liaise with the business control centre regarding maintenance work and alarm conditions
- Conduct maintenance of electrical equipment in accordance with schedules
- Ensure fault rectification complies with relevant legislation, SLA, and job plans
- Identify potential problems or hazards on client equipment
- Provide constant feedback to the Supervisor and Client on restoration of operations
Requirements
- N3 - N6 in Electrical Engineering with Trade Test
- Matric (Senior Certificate)
- Valid SA Drivers License
- Wireman’s License
- 3 years relevant experience in electrical engineering maintenance
- Practical knowledge of air breakers and PLCs
- Intermediate MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook skills
- SAP knowledge
- Knowledge of OHS Act
