Electrical Architect

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture and system-level design for high-speed digital communication systems
• Define system-level architecture for multi-gigabit networking and complex digital power trees
• Set technical direction and review schematic capture, layout, and bring-up for FPGAs and microcontrollers
• Collaborate across hardware and software teams including RF, antenna, and firmware engineers
• Guide prototype testing and performance assessment in the lab and in the field
• Partner with production teams to ensure architecture supports testable and manufacturable products

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of professional experience in electrical design at the system or architecture level
• Proficiency in high-density/high-speed design (FPGAs, SerDes, 10/100 GigE, JESD204C)
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout design
• Experience troubleshooting EMI/EMC
• Knowledge of PCB materials and board stack-up definition
• Experience with full product lifecycle from concept through production
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual per ITAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years designing high-speed mixed-signal electronics and complex multilayer PCBs
• Expertise in DDR and multi-gigabit networking technologies
• Deep understanding of signal integrity and power integrity
• Proven experience leading hardware development through manufacturing and production ramp
• Hands-on experience debugging complex hardware using advanced lab instrumentation
