Electrical Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeymen and Master Electricians with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit
• Install tubing for instruments and pull wiring through conduit
• Connect wiring to controllers and instruments
• Test continuity of circuits using multimeters
• Mount instruments and electrical panels using hand and power tools
• Observe equipment functioning to detect hazards or needs for adjustment
• Maintain a safe work environment and use required PPE
• Collaborate with other electricians and contractors on large projects

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an electrician in construction or industrial settings
• Currently enrolled or willing to enroll in an apprenticeship program
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and tubing benders
• Valid Driver's License and proof of U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to pass a 10-panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
