Electrical and Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and specify electrical components for general assembly equipment, including automotive conveyors and semi-automatic/fully automatic stations
• Manage equipment electric planning processes from initial concept through final handover to production
• Ensure all production processes and electrical functions comply with local regulations and standards
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to support automation and production systems
• Manage torque data and interface with various stakeholders including IT, EHS, and production departments
• Solve complex technical problems in a fast-paced environment to maintain equipment functionality

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in automotive production
• 3+ years of experience in assembly environments
• 3+ years of experience in equipment electrical and automation systems
• Proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal and automation technology (PLCs, control units, industrial networks)
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards including NEMA, NFPA 79, and NEC
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related engineering field
• Experience with production systems such as SCADA, MES, and Back-up/Recovery systems
• Familiarity with web-based applications and office software for presenting results to management
