Electrical AIT Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, integration, and test (AIT) activities on aerospace systems
• Support mechanical and electrical installation, integration, and testing tasks
• Provide hands-on support to shop floor operations to ensure efficient build and test activities
• Support technicians and testing activities, including fault finding and troubleshooting
• Oversee day-to-day shop floor activities and coordinate technicians as a Shift Lead

Requirements

• Experience in AIT environments within aerospace or space programmes
• Electrical background with hands-on integration and test experience
• Ability to work in a secure, regulated engineering environment
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience
• Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience for technician-level roles
• Proven experience supporting assembly, integration, and test activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in space or satellite programmes
• Previous experience as a shop floor or shift lead
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support programme activities
