Elderly Care Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to elderly clients, including assistance with daily living, personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
• Monitor vital signs and address basic healthcare needs with accuracy
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to unique health requirements
• Offer guidance and support to families regarding elder care techniques and medical equipment use
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of care provided in compliance with homecare standards

Requirements

• Nursing degree (Bachelor’s degree or diploma) or Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, specifically focused on elderly or homecare services
• Strong understanding of chronic condition management and personal assistance needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently in a home setting
