Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities related to laboratory-authorized analysis, evaluation, or services
- Promote the laboratory service portfolio based on authorized scope and operational capacity
- Generate appointments, commercial visits, presentations, and follow-up meetings with prospects and clients both virtually and in person
- Develop strategies to increase client portfolio and billing
- Prepare technical-commercial quotes and proposals with technical area support
- Verify that requested services correspond to the laboratory's authorized scope
- Align delivery times, service conditions, sample requirements, and documentary criteria with operational areas
- Provide continuous follow-up on commercial opportunities until closure
- Inform clients about sample entry requirements, documentation, and service restrictions
- Maintain continuous communication with active clients and detect cross-selling opportunities
- Monitor customer satisfaction and manage commercial incidents
- Manage contracts, agreements, renewals, and commercial documentation
Requirements
- Higher education in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Biological Chemist, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Food Engineering
- 2 years of B2B sales experience in technical, analytical, regulatory, or specialized services (testing laboratories, inspection units, or certification bodies)
- Experience in prospecting, portfolio development, and sales closing
- Experience in preparing and following up on commercial quotes and proposals
- Technical knowledge of COFEPRIS framework and applicable Mexican official standards (NOM)
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, good laboratory practices, and method validation
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or courses in regulatory affairs, consultative sales, quality management systems, or sanitary regulations
