EIT- Disassembly

Responsibilities

• Disassemble large manufacturing equipment following standard operating procedures and blueprints
• Verify and prepare all parts and components for welding, machining, and assembly
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and bills of materials
• Perform quality work checks using in-process inspection tools and devices
• Operate shop equipment, power tools, torches, and overhead cranes to move components
• Maintain a safe working environment by following established policies and hazard awareness
• Handle tasks requiring moderate to heavy physical exertion, including bending, twisting, and climbing

Requirements

• 3-5 years of mechanical assembly and disassembly experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred
• Proven mechanical ability with cranes and heavy tools
• Must own tools of the trade and be able to use them effectively
• Ability to read and interpret assembly prints and technical instructions
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in basic shop math
• Ability to work in environments involving solvents, grease, and grime
