EIC Measurement Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, repair, and maintain compressor stations, meter stations, and communication systems
• Oversee the installation and repair of measurement and regulation equipment, including meters, flow computers, transmitters, and regulators
• Perform routine and major maintenance on natural gas driven compressor units and auxiliary equipment
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair electronic, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
• Maintain power, process controls, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and electric generation equipment
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
• Maintain accurate written records for DOT auditable inspections, calibrations, and gas quality analysis
• Use SAP to complete work orders and manage job plans

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a related industry
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices
• Basic knowledge of engine mechanics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Ability to be subject to 24/7 call-outs for emergency response

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree with coursework in engine maintenance, electricity, or electronics
• Experience with Allen Bradley or Bristol controls
• Experience with various gas measurement testing equipment
• Proficiency with PLCs, pneumatic/electronic valves, transmitters, and regulators
• Ability to interpret technical reference documents, blueprints, and schematics
