eHW Architect Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low voltage (LV) ECU hardware architecture and interfaces for automotive drive train, engine control, and transmission control systems.
• Specify and analyze hardware requirements, establishing bidirectional traceability and consistency checks.
• Develop hardware-software interfaces and manage ASIC configuration in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare detailed hardware design documentation and schematics.
• Define hardware design verification strategies and perform functional testing.
• Conduct hardware troubleshooting and prepare comprehensive test reports.

Requirements

• B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in Power Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in hardware design, specifically with low voltage controller ECUs.
• Proven experience in Analog, Digital, and Power Electronics circuit design and component selection.
• Strong understanding of embedded microcontroller architecture and serial communication.
• Proficiency with communication protocols including SPI, I2C, CAN, and LIN.
• Experience with requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS or Polarion.
• Familiarity with the V-Model product life cycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of ISO26262 functional safety (Part 4 - System level and Part 5 - Hardware Functional Safety Analysis).
• Experience in hardware requirements elicitation and validation.
