About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support safety compliance and performance programs through technical training and job analysis
  • Develop, administer, and deliver site training programs using classroom, field-based, and hands-on methods
  • Conduct job analysis for Operations positions to determine initial and continuing training needs
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on performance data
  • Support Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives and assist in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits
  • Coach and guide subject matter experts and peer trainers to support on-the-job training

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of plant operations, maintenance practices, and safety fundamentals
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Organizational Management, or related field
  • Experience with skills-based qualification systems or performing training needs assessments
  • Prior experience delivering technical or safety training in an industrial environment
  • Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Vector
  • Experience developing training programs using multi-media authoring tools
