About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and support safety compliance and performance programs through technical training and job analysis
- Develop, administer, and deliver site training programs using classroom, field-based, and hands-on methods
- Conduct job analysis for Operations positions to determine initial and continuing training needs
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on performance data
- Support Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives and assist in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits
- Coach and guide subject matter experts and peer trainers to support on-the-job training
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of plant operations, maintenance practices, and safety fundamentals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Organizational Management, or related field
- Experience with skills-based qualification systems or performing training needs assessments
- Prior experience delivering technical or safety training in an industrial environment
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Vector
- Experience developing training programs using multi-media authoring tools
