EHS Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) in alignment with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Execute the EHS control plan, including training, equipment maintenance, and waste/wastewater controls.
• Identify unsafe conditions and environmental risks, proposing preventive and corrective actions.
• Lead accident, near-miss, and occupational illness investigations and define necessary action plans.
• Conduct HSE inspections, monitor EHS KPI performance, and support emergency preparedness drills.
• Support EHS onboarding for new hires and promote employee engagement in safety programs.
• Maintain authority to stop any process posing a safety, environmental, or product quality risk.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent education (Environmental, Sustainability, Safety, or Industrial).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Safety or Environmental roles.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulations.
• Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Proven experience with risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including availability for overtime or weekend work.
