About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update Daily 6s Safety Audit Logs, monitoring and tracking issues until closure
  • Maintain accurate records and analyze data using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Provide weekly activity reports to EHS Managers and Senior Specialists
  • Support Safety Committee Meetings, monthly safety walks, and scheduled Emergency Action Plan drills
  • Perform compliance and system audits to assess adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulatory requirements
  • Assist with near miss and incident investigation processes upon request
  • Verify correct utilization of PPE and ensure safety supplies are organized and secure
  • Develop EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports
  • Support client safety performance through training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree is a plus)
  • 1 to 3 years of experience providing EHS support with an emphasis on health and safety
  • OSHA 30 Certification required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Ability to use a Tyvek bunny suit as part of standard protective gear in controlled environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with analytical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Six Sigma safety methods
  • Existing or in-progress certification as a Certified Industrial Hygiene (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP/ASP)
  • Experience recording and writing detailed technical data and reports
