EHS Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage EHS risks and implement best practices at the La Pocatière site
• Collaborate with internal teams to achieve EHS objectives and support risk assessments
• Prepare, implement, and maintain site emergency plans
• Coordinate EHS activities involving subcontractors or other operational areas
• Provide guidance to personnel to prevent injuries, property damage, and environmental pollution
• Develop and maintain local procedures aligned with Alstom and international standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Participate in training programs and EHS meetings such as Tool Box talks
• Investigate incidents and accidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Conduct EHS inspections and audits to ensure legal and organizational compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in health and safety
• Knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, and PowerBI
• Must meet the eligibility criteria for the VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) program

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the railway sector
