EHS System Officer

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and deliver EHS training programs to ensure employee awareness and compliance.
• Supervise EHS staff to ensure effective execution of activities in compliance with laws and ISO management systems.
• Ensure site-level compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
• Manage the Management of Change (MOC) process to systematically assess and control EHS risks.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and inspections with regulatory authorities.
• Ensure audit readiness and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Support other management systems such as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Occupational Health & Safety.
• Minimum 7 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or continuous process plant.
• Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment, Risk assessment, VOC emission inventory, and Greenhouse Gases.
• Environmental control licenses for Wastewater, Air pollution, and Hazardous waste.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systematic thinking skills.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental laws.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EHS management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Dangerous goods specialist certification.
• Safety professional license.
• Familiarity with data analysis and EHS monitoring tools.
