EHS Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Implement and ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding EHS (STPS, SEMARNAT, COFEPRIS) and ISO 14001/45001 standards.
• Coordinate and execute EHS programs for plant personnel, contractors, suppliers, and visitors.
• Identify risks, manage internal and external audits, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure the proper execution of safety training, including LOTO, working at heights, confined spaces, and electrical safety.
• Maintain updated EHS documentation and manage key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor plant activities and exercise authority to stop processes when unsafe conditions are detected.
• Coordinate emergency response and business continuity plans to protect people and operations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate EHS requirements into new projects and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of EHS experience within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Solid knowledge of Mexican safety and environmental legislation.
• Proven experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with authorities and external auditors.
• Strong ability to influence, train, and provide hands-on support on the production floor.
