EHS Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Support the EHS Department with a focus on employee safety training and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Manage and communicate the status of Workers Compensation claims in coordination with a TPA.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1910, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate the Powered Industrial Equipment program and specialized training programs such as LOTO and Confined Space.
• Facilitate incident investigations using DMAIC problem-solving to recommend countermeasures and conduct loss analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement for site EHS programs and organize site safety committees.
• Spend time on the production floor to identify unsafe acts or conditions and recommend appropriate fixes.
• Provide case management for injuries requiring treatment beyond first aid to ensure proper employee recovery.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related manufacturing field (Bachelor's preferred).
• Proven knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Workers Compensation Claims Management.
• Proficiency in MS Office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training presentations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PowerBI and navigating cloud-based programs like SharePoint.
• Knowledge of Environmental Regulations.
• Previous experience in a plant or manufacturing setting with progressive EHS responsibility.
