EH&S Specialist

Responsibilities

• Review and develop company EH&S policies and procedures
• Research and interpret applicable EH&S regulatory requirements (Cal/OSHA, DOT, EPA, DTSC)
• Support manufacturing and operations teams as an information resource
• Conduct industrial hygiene sampling and exposure analyses
• Conduct injury, incident, and near miss investigations
• Conduct job hazard, area hazard, and test hazard analyses
• Conduct building and area inspections
• Provide training and safety meetings to manufacturing and operations teams

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in EH&S related field with 4+ years of experience, or 6+ years of experience in the EH&S field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience researching and interpreting regulations (Cal/OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.)
• Experience developing written programs and company policy
• Ability to stand or walk 50% of the day or more
• Ability to obtain a high security clearance
