About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement and sustain the EHS Management System across assigned locations to ensure alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through field presence, coaching, and reinforcement of safe work practices.
  • Conduct job safety analyses, task-based risk assessments, and regular site audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, developing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track and analyze monthly EHS performance metrics using designated software to identify trends and risks.
  • Deliver EHS training programs, including new-hire orientations and task-specific safety instruction.
  • Support site leadership and Safety Champions in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or at least four years of professional experience in environmental, health, and safety.
  • Minimum of one year of EHS experience within a manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial environment.
  • One year of experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel at least 20% to assigned company locations.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Science.
  • Experience with EHS management systems, incident investigation protocols, and EHS software platforms.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable state and local EHS regulations.
  • Proven ability to recognize workplace hazards and take initiative to address them.
