EHS Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and implement comprehensive EHS programs including ergonomics, incident investigation, hazardous waste management, and industrial hygiene.
• Conduct hazard identifications, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure workplace safety.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to determine corrective action plans and assist in regulatory audits.
• Perform EHS reviews for new product development, facility modifications, and new equipment installations.
• Provide employee training and promote awareness regarding environmental health and safety matters.
• Partner with Facilities on environmental sustainability initiatives and data management.
• Evaluate proposed regulations to determine potential financial and industrial impacts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years of relevant experience
• OR Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years of relevant experience
• OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EHS management systems and risk assessment within a medical device manufacturing environment.
• Professional certification (or eligibility) such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
• Strong ability to partner with diverse teams and drive employee engagement.
• Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter.
