About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, administer, and implement comprehensive EHS programs including ergonomics, incident investigation, hazardous waste management, and industrial hygiene.
- Conduct hazard identifications, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure workplace safety.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to determine corrective action plans and assist in regulatory audits.
- Perform EHS reviews for new product development, facility modifications, and new equipment installations.
- Provide employee training and promote awareness regarding environmental health and safety matters.
- Partner with Facilities on environmental sustainability initiatives and data management.
- Evaluate proposed regulations to determine potential financial and industrial impacts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years of relevant experience
- OR Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years of relevant experience
- OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EHS management systems and risk assessment within a medical device manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification (or eligibility) such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
- Strong ability to partner with diverse teams and drive employee engagement.
- Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter.
