About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across residential, commercial, and general industry environments
- Provide direct field support to contractors for high-hazard activities including fall protection, confined space, LOTO, and rigging
- Review and approve Job Safety Assessments and pre-task plans
- Lead independent incident, near-miss, and hazard investigations to determine root causes
- Deliver EHS training to field crews, subcontractors, and site personnel
- Manage contractor EHS compliance and PPE programs
- Support OSHA log preparation and regulatory recordkeeping
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of EHS experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial fields
- Working knowledge of OSHA construction (29 CFR 1926) and general industry (29 CFR 1910) standards
- Experience leading incident investigations and driving corrective actions
- Ability to travel up to 25% to construction and operations sites
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- CHST or ASP certification
- Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 or defense construction projects
- Experience with EHS software platforms or digital inspection tools
- Bilingual English/Spanish
