EHS Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain the EHS management system for the Huang Pu FR plant and support all functions in complying with EHS requirements.
• Implement plant EHS activities, including near-miss reporting, safety image programs, and awareness programs for staff, contractors, and vendors.
• Execute EHS training programs, including necessary examinations and assessments for various positions.
• Manage environmental, sustainability, and health protocols, including monitoring waste gas treatment and wastewater systems to ensure statutory compliance.
• Provide technical EHS support to daily operations to ensure processes comply with company policy and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety/environmental hazards and track corrective actions to completion.
• Maintain and improve site emergency management and security systems.
• Support the development of EHS-related SOPs and organize hazard analyses for new processes or changes.
• Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes and maintain 24-hour emergency contact availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with local EHS regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Good English communication ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Food, Flavor, or Chemical manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
