EHS Safety Intern

Responsibilities

• Work on safety and occupational health components within the Integrated Management System
• Assist with tasks during HQ EHS/Infrastructure and internal ISO audits
• Assist with regulatory evaluation and reporting requirements
• Monitor EHS key performance indicators
• Assist with materials management for the Hazard Communication Program
• Help develop training and communication materials
• Support special projects including ergonomics assessments, IP address mapping for safety devices, and industrial hygiene data trending

Requirements

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Environmental Science, Health, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Access)
• Ability to climb ladders and stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work or internship experience in a science field
• Knowledge of coding or experience using Canva
