EHS Professional

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs to ensure compliance with Mexican regulations and ISO 14001/ISO 45001 management systems
• Conduct EHS audits and inspections to identify compliance gaps, hazards, and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Lead investigations of workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses using root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
• Perform and oversee risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) to proactively mitigate workplace hazards
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs while coaching operational teams on safe work practices
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, including STPS and SEMARNAT, during inspections and inquiries

Requirements

• Proven experience managing EHS programs within compliance with Mexican legal and regulatory requirements
• Expertise in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
• Strong background in conducting EHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Proficiency in performing root cause analysis and implementing CAPAs
• Experience conducting risk assessments and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
• Ability to act as a regulatory liaison with authorities such as STPS and SEMARNAT
