About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, implement, and monitor the project EHS plan
- Lead safety meetings with Clients and Trades
- Supervise client project EHS oversight resources and outsourced competent persons
- Assess and approve contractor safety plans
- Review and comment on High Risk Activities
- Champion safety initiatives and support client safety campaigns
- Lead investigations and root cause analysis
- Ensure client safety requirements and local codes are met
- Provide safety support and guidance to project managers
Requirements
- Several years of experience in EHS lead management positions
- Demonstrable experience working on large-scale, complex projects
- Proficiency in project control mechanisms and technical risk assessments
- Strong communication and visualization skills
- Outstanding organization, coordination, and leadership skills
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Availability for on-site work in Oulu, Finland
Preferred Qualifications
- Data Center industry experience
