EHS Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with Spanish and EU regulations
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to ensure effective preventive measures
• Provide EHS training and awareness programs to foster a strong safety culture among employees
• Monitor environmental performance, manage waste, and promote sustainable practices
• Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders on all EHS-related matters

Requirements

• University degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in an EHS management role, preferably in the renewable energy or industrial sector
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish EHS legislation and international standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage diverse teams
• Fluency in both Spanish and English (C1 level)
