EHS Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations in Environmental, Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene, and Emergency Response
• Coach the leadership team on safe behaviors and approaches to improve safety culture
• Manage all aspects of EHS training and facilitate new hire orientations
• Lead key risk assessments including HIRA, JHA/JSA, and Safe Work Permitting
• Manage incident and accident investigation processes, including Root Cause Analysis
• Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Program (RMP)
• Manage environmental aspects including Air Permits, Stormwater, Waste, and ISO 14000 programs
• Submit required State and Federal EH&S reports such as TRI and Tier II
• Utilize company EHS systems like Sphera, HSI SDS, and Gensuite

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health science, or a similar field
• 5-10 years of professional experience in occupational safety or environmental roles
• Strong knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations
• Experience with Risk Management Plan (RMP) and Process Safety Management (PSM)
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills with the ability to influence at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in chemical or similar manufacturing environments
• CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification
• Master's degree (MS)
