About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day EHS program execution and serve as the primary point of contact for all site EHS matters.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, FAA, and all applicable environmental and safety regulations.
- Drive hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Strengthen safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and management of an EHS team.
- Deliver training on chemical safety, LOTO, PPE, ergonomics, and emergency response.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to integrate EHS into daily processes and new product developments.
- Manage and continuously improve the site EHS management system, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Use EHS data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and proactive risk communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or highly regulated industrial environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory requirements.
- Strong working knowledge of incident investigation methodologies and hazard analysis techniques (JHA, PHA, MOC).
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop technical talent.
- Advanced communication skills to influence site leadership and collaborate across functions.
- U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, or refugee status required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM.
- Experience with digital reporting tools or enterprise EHS platforms.
