EHS Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS strategies to improve Safety, Health, and Environmental performance across production and distribution sites.
• Build a robust EHS culture focused on zero injuries, zero illnesses, and zero negative environmental impacts.
• Ensure full compliance with local legal and regulatory standards, including NRs, IBAMA, and ANVISA.
• Coordinate risk management activities, including risk analyses, audits, JSA, and risk mapping.
• Manage EHS training programs to develop local technical resources and engineers.
• Oversee EHS-related projects, budgets, and contracts, ensuring financial efficiency and compliance.
• Lead management of change processes related to operations and projects to ensure safety and sustainability.

Requirements

• Higher education degree, preferably in Engineering.
• Post-graduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Solid experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of Brazilian legislation (NRs, IBAMA, ANVISA) and understanding of OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Proven experience in implementing environmental, health, and safety management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
