EHS Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce EHS policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including ISO-14001 and ISO-45001 standards
• Perform regular risk assessments, hazard analyses, and facility inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks
• Conduct routine safety audits and maintain accurate documentation, including incident reports and compliance audits
• Provide comprehensive EHS training to employees regarding safety protocols, procedures, and emergency response
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement effective corrective actions
• Manage environmental programs, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives
• Promote a proactive culture of safety, well-being, and "Mission Zero" (no incidents, injuries, or environmental impact)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or a related field
• Proven experience working within a lean manufacturing environment
• Strong skills in risk assessment and data analysis to identify hazards
• Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance, including OSHA and EPA standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ISO-14001 and ISO-45001 certification processes
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
