EHS Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S work processes and initiatives to meet geographic and business performance expectations
• Develop strategic environmental and regulatory strategies, including performance improvement plans and goals
• Implement process safety performance improvement activities related to site work practices and behaviors
• Coordinate second and third-party EH&S audits and lead severe incident investigations
• Implement EH&S/ES&S management systems consistent with site and business interests
• Lead the Site EH&S Team and coach site individuals on safety, health, and environmental issues
• Collaborate with site leadership to identify and capture leverageable opportunities across the network

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or scientific field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or R&D leadership
• Working knowledge of SHE and PSM systems
• Functional expertise in OSHA regulations and management systems, including confined space, line break, lock out/tag out, and respiratory protection
• Ability to collect and analyze data, identify solutions, assess risk factors, and make sound decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong ability to transmit knowledge through teaching, coaching, and documenting
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing EH&S talent
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, R&D, and Maintenance
