EHS Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, L&I)
• Partner with site leadership to implement and sustain safe work practices
• Oversee incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Develop and deliver EHS training to maintain compliance and build capability
• Conduct inspections and audits to identify risks and ensure timely resolution
• Manage compliance calendars, regulatory reporting, and agency interactions
• Lead emergency response programs, including planning, training, and drills
• Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Manage environmental compliance activities including permitting and monitoring for air, water, and waste
• Support sustainability initiatives and corporate EHS systems
• Review capital projects and facility modifications for EHS risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, L&I, and environmental regulations
• Experience with audits, incident investigations, and compliance programs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, or CHMM
