EHS Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
• Lead location managers and teams in promoting safe operating procedures
• Provide technical expertise for incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Conduct EHS training to maintain regulatory compliance
• Maintain and execute an EHS compliance calendar
• Conduct annual reviews and audits of assigned locations
• Serve as the local EHS representative for capital projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related Science field (or 10 years of EHS experience)
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing setting
• 2+ years of EHS leadership responsibility
• Strong understanding of OSHA and EPA laws
• Experience with air permitting, stormwater, and hazardous waste management
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and risk assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in EHS or related Science field
• Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, IHIT, CIH, or CHMM
