EHS Intern

Responsibilities

• Audit critical and internal providers to ensure compliance with legal requirements and identify deviations.
• Develop EHS procedures and provide related operational training.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other standards such as SEDEX/SMETA, ISCC, ASI, and FSC.
• Proactively identify risks on the plant floor and develop solutions alongside the team.
• Assist in the development and implementation of STPS/NOM regulations.
• Perform periodic inspections of fire safety equipment and site safety conditions.
• Support EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including observation and finding closure rates.
• Reinforce safety culture for contractors and visitors through proper orientation and site safety plan implementation.

Requirements

• Currently studying Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Availability for a 6-month internship.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
• Must have valid student insurance.
