About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the company’s EHS management system and related policies to ensure compliance.
- Organize EHS risk identification, assessment, and hazard inspections.
- Manage occupational health programs, including PPE selection and health surveillance records.
- Lead investigations of work-related accidents and near-misses using root cause analysis.
- Oversee fire protection systems, maintenance, and annual testing.
- Develop and update Emergency Response Plans and organize evacuation drills.
- Manage plant relocation and renovation projects, including contractor safety and high-risk work supervision.
- Oversee the full life-cycle safety management of production equipment.
- Develop annual EHS training plans and conduct safety culture activities.
- Establish EHS data models and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
- Act as the primary contact for government inspections from environmental and safety authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Environmental or Safety Engineering.
- 3+ years of EHS management experience, ideally in manufacturing or automotive industries.
- Familiarity with national and local EHS laws and experience in system establishment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and resilience skills.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent in Chinese.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant EHS certifications, such as Certified Safety Engineer.
