About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive qualification plans for new, retrofitted, or upgraded semiconductor tools
- Verify functional, performance, and reliability testing and document all results
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of Equipment Qualification files and Release-to-Production (RTP) dossiers
- Liaise with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety teams to resolve equipment-related issues
- Participate in design-review meetings to provide equipment-specific feedback early in the development cycle
- Verify compliance with EHS and environmental regulations during equipment integration
- Perform hazard assessments for high-voltage, gas, chemical, and radiation-intensive equipment
- Conduct Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) and root-cause investigations for equipment deviations
- Develop and track corrective-action plans through the CAPA process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or Risk Management
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience
- Professional certifications from accredited institutions (e.g., CSP, CRSP, CIH, or CRM)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale construction projects, commissioning, and equipment inspection QA/QC
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment qualification, equipment engineering, or process integration
