EH&S Equipment Sign-Off Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive qualification plans for new, retrofitted, or upgraded semiconductor tools
• Verify functional, performance, and reliability testing and document all results
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of Equipment Qualification files and Release-to-Production (RTP) dossiers
• Liaise with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety teams to resolve equipment-related issues
• Participate in design-review meetings to provide equipment-specific feedback early in the development cycle
• Verify compliance with EHS and environmental regulations during equipment integration
• Perform hazard assessments for high-voltage, gas, chemical, and radiation-intensive equipment
• Conduct Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) and root-cause investigations for equipment deviations
• Develop and track corrective-action plans through the CAPA process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or Risk Management
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience
• Professional certifications from accredited institutions (e.g., CSP, CRSP, CIH, or CRM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale construction projects, commissioning, and equipment inspection QA/QC
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment qualification, equipment engineering, or process integration
