EHS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage workplace environmental issues including wastewater management, air quality, pollution prevention, and environmental permitting
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, state, and local environmental standards
• Provide technical insight into environmental topics and oversee improvement initiatives
• Assist in establishing and maintaining environmental programs
• Prepare site compliance reporting, reviews, and audits
• Provide onsite environmental training to employees

Requirements

• BS degree in Environmental Sciences, EHS Engineering, or a similar field
• At least 2 years of post-graduation industrial experience in environmental oversight
• Proven experience working within a manufacturing or factory environment
• Thorough knowledge of Title V permits, air permits, and hazardous waste management
• Strong proficiency with MS Office tools for report writing, data analysis, and presentations
• Familiarity with local, State, and Federal compliance regulations
