EHS and Environmental Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead a workgroup to develop, manage, and execute strategies for Occupational Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement processes to prevent workplace risks and environmental impacts.
• Exercise authority to stop unsafe acts or conditions to protect personnel, facilities, and the environment.
• Coordinate the development and monitoring of site-specific EHS programs, projects, and strategic objectives.
• Evaluate legal and internal compliance and act as the primary contact for authorities regarding EHS matters.
• Review and approve documented information, including work standards, procedures, and operating instructions.
• Manage HSE databases, training programs, and awareness campaigns.
• Support risk assessments, environmental impact evaluations, and incident analysis (including 8D reports).
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and management reviews for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
• English proficiency at a B1 (Intermediate) level.
• Certified ISO 45001 Internal Auditor.
• Certified ISO 14001 Internal Auditor.
• Strong knowledge of legal EHS requirements and regulations.
• Proven experience implementing management systems and strategies with tangible results.
• Ability to optimize time and resources within work areas.
