EHS Advisor

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and monitor on-site activities to ensure safety compliance
• Oversee work permits and ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards
• Provide risk assessment support to employees and contractors
• Coach supervisors to promote safety leadership and a culture of responsibility
• Deliver EHS inductions for employees and contractors
• Manage contractor EHS documentation and readiness
• Lead EHS committee meetings and conduct monthly toolbox talks
• Investigate accidents and implement follow-up action plans for continuous improvement
• Implement emergency measures and first aid protocols
• Take immediate action to stop operational activities posing high risks to people or the environment

Requirements

• University degree in Environment, Health, and Safety or a related field
• Health & Safety Qualification recognized by local authorities
• 2 to 5 years of EHS experience, with mandatory experience on construction sites
• In-depth knowledge of ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO45001 standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong written English communication skills
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project-based environments
• Experience within the railway industry
