EGSE and Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop test equipment for satellite electronic units
• Design and support the manufacturing of electrical test equipment and cable harnesses
• Produce technical design documentation including electrical diagrams, assembly drawings, and bills of materials
• Assist in the analysis and writing of detailed test procedures
• Support the procurement, manufacturing, and validation of electrical ground support equipment (EGSE)
• Provide testing support for satellite electronic units, including potential evening or weekend support during commissioning

Requirements

• BSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
• Hands-on experience in electronic design
• Proficiency in printed circuit board (PCB) design
• Eligibility to obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level
• Ability to pass security assessments for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Diptrace or equivalent PCB CAD tools
• Knowledge of stepper motors and drives
• Programming skills in Python, VBA, or PSoC
• Experience with microcomputers such as Raspberry Pi or Arduino
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Visio
• Bilingualism in French and English
