Egg Sales Trader

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of customer and supplier relationships across wholesale, retail, and foodservice channels
• Source and broker eggs from internal and external inventories to meet customer demand and optimize results
• Drive new business development by identifying, pursuing, and closing new sales opportunities
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, freight considerations, and delivery terms to maximize profitability
• Monitor market pricing, supply-demand shifts, industry trends, and competitive activity
• Partner with internal sales, operations, and logistics teams to ensure strong deal execution
• Maintain awareness of cross-border trade considerations, tariffs, and regulatory requirements
• Consistently meet or exceed sales, gross margin, and account growth targets

Requirements

• Proven experience in egg sales, egg trading, commodity sales, produce, protein, or related agricultural markets
• Existing book of business and/or established relationships with relevant customers or suppliers
• Demonstrated success in sales, trading, and business development
• Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship management skills
• Familiarity with domestic and international logistics and freight coordination
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and supply-demand trends
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling into food manufacturing or large-scale foodservice accounts
• Experience managing international markets and cross-border transactions
