Egg Haul Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to and from breeder farms to transport eggs to specified destinations
• Maintain accurate truck logs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Load and unload truck cargo
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
• Perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs
• Comply with all DOT and State driver training and documentation requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of related experience and/or training
• Valid Class-A CDL Driver's License
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
• Ability to calculate hours of service and complete log book pages
