About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop automated trading strategies and high-frequency data infrastructure for the eFX trading desk.
- Apply computer science, statistics, and machine learning to bespoke high-frequency, asynchronous datasets.
- Build and maintain automated pricing and risk management systems for principal electronic trading books.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary experts to provide actionable insights from billions of daily datapoints.
- Develop software and user interfaces for data analysis and large-scale dataset manipulation.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of eFX trading experience.
- Experience with automated pricing and risk management for principal electronic trading books.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline.
- Proficiency in data analysis and modeling languages such as Python or Matlab.
- Proficiency in production system languages such as Java or C++.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Experience using AI coding tools throughout the development lifecycle.
- Experience in backtesting and implementing signals based on high-frequency asynchronous tick data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing user interfaces for complex data analysis.
- Proven ability to use artificial intelligence for analyzing large datasets and providing business insights.
- Strong domain expertise in relevant electronic trading business areas.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a self-starter mindset.
