EE Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the planning, scheduling, and execution of comprehensive EE validation test plans across subsystems including Battery, PMIC, SOC, Connectivity, and Sensors
• Define and report on validation milestones across hardware build phases (P0, P1, P2, EVT, DVT, PVT)
• Oversee signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) validation, including clock parametric testing and PDN characterization
• Develop test requirements for bus/interface protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI, I2S, and HSIO
• Lead execution teams at CM/ODM facilities to ensure accurate measurement and adherence to SOPs
• Drive EE-level debugging and root cause analysis using Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Act as the primary communication bridge between external partners and US-based engineering teams

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in EE validation or verification for complex electronic systems
• Expertise in signal integrity, power integrity, battery integration, sensors, or memory performance
• Hands-on experience with SI verification for digital protocols (I2C, SPI, MIPI, I2S, UART)
• Deep understanding of power management, DC/DC supply topologies, and power sequencing
• Proficiency with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and e-loads
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MS in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of hardware validation experience for high-volume consumer electronics
• Experience managing validation workstreams at CM/ODM sites in China
• Technical experience with high-speed I/O (HSIO) interface validation
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis or test automation
